COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will cover basic functions of using Patran as pre and post processor for SINDA/G. Topics covered will include importing CAD geometry, meshing, applying boundary conditions, convection and radiation. Special emphasis will be placed on the new radiation primitive surfaces now available in Patran and their integration to standard radiation codes such as Nevada, Thermica, TSS and Trasys. Also the new Radiation Super Element will be discussed.
