New for TFAWS 2023: Student Poster Competition
TFAWS 2023 will be hosting a Student Poster Competition open to any current undergraduate or graduate student. This is a great opportunity for students and interns to showcase their research or project, and to network with engineers from NASA and industry.
Abstract submissions for the poster session are due no later than July 31st, 2023.
Eligibility: Participants must be a student at the time of TFAWS, or must have graduated within the past 6 months. All work relating to research or projects presented must have been done while a student. Topics should be relevant to the TFAWS conferences including (but not limited to) life support, active thermal, passive thermal, fluids, thermal & fluid dynamics, and cryogenics.

At the conference, we will be providing you with a 40 in. (height) x 60 in. (width) (100 cm x 150 cm) landscape orientation poster board (pin board) on which you can pin your poster. Please bring your poster. We will NOT be printing them out for you. Your academic institution should have printing resources available for your use.
Judging: Students will present their posters to a panel of judges. Each presentation should be no more than 10 minutes, plus 5 minutes for questions. Judges will score each presentation based on technical content, poster quality, and presentation quality.
