TFAWS 2005 Paper (or Presentation) Submission Guidelines

Guidelines for Paper (or Publishable Presentations)

  • No less than 10 point font should be used for text, this includes figures
  • Recommended maximum paper length is 12 pages, however, papers of longer length will be accepted
  • Papers should include the following:
    • Abstract
    • Introduction
    • Main Text
    • Reference
    • Acknowledgements
  • Paper Template: doc | pdf
  • All papers and publishable presentations submitted and distributed will be via electronic media. Prior to submission all papers (or presentations) must be reviewed and cleared for external release, by the author's own organization. In addition, authors must provide written permission to allow their papers (or presentations) to be published. The permission statement should include the following:
    • (Organization Name) grants NASA Kenedy Space Center, The University of Central Florida (UCF), and the Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC) the right to publish the following document, (Title of Document).
    You may send this statement to us by email. Please include your paper title and author(s) in all correspondences. Papers will not be published on the conference web site, proceedings, nor on the CD, without this permission statement.

Paper Session Rules and Regulations
  • Rules and Regulations:
    1. A paper manuscript (or publishable presentation), clearance form, and biography must be submitted electronically by July 11, 2005
    2. 30 minutes total: 20 minutes (max) presentation, 10 minutes (min) questions
    3. Session chairperson will notify presenter of time remaining. A 5-min warning and a 2-minute wrap up notice will be given.
    4. Presentations should not be an advertisement.
    5. Government people should refrain from making the presentation sound like a product endorsement.
    6. No bashing other codes.

    • Computer projector with PC and CD drive
    • Overhead projector
    • Laser pointers
    • Podium with microphone
    • Laptop computers w/MS Suite and Adobe.
